Foragers of the foreshore29/10/2019
Now the dust has settled back on to the hundred's of artefacts that the Mudlarks brought to exhibition, we can reflect on what was an amazing exhibition. Curator Eva Tausig had this to say...

Thank You from everyone here at Thames Festival for making Foragers of the Foreshore one of the most successful events that we have ever produced! We are extremely proud of the wider project, the exhibition, and we have you to thank for this.
To make Foragers happen we worked with twenty seven volunteers, twenty eight mudlarkers, eighteen exhibition contributors and artists, and eleven experts and speakers. That’s a team of EIGHTY FOUR strong, not to mention the design, production and marketing teams working hard behind the scenes. Every single one of you was absolutely integral in making this happen. Thank you so much for all your time and expertise given so generously.
The exhibition drew in four thousand, one hundred and thirty seven visitors over its run, which is an unprecedented audience figure for the Bargehouse. The feedback we have received has been universally (very) enthusiastic across the board, with many people commenting that it was the passionate interaction from participants – from the mudlarkers and artists, to the volunteers and the café team – that really made the exhibition a special experience. **Do check out Si’s brilliant walkthrough of the exhibition if you haven’t already, and share with anyone who might be interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNcm4zRNAko
A heads up that we will be building a revamped snazzy and dedicated Foragers of the Foreshore webpage where we will feature mudlarkers and artists, migrating over much of the content (interviews, images etc.) from our current totallythames.com/foragers and /foragersoftheforeshore pages. Watch this space.
A final thank you, once more, from myself, Adrian, and the rest of the TFT team.
With very best wishes,
Eva
